Vibe Coding Rescue & AI-Code Takeover

You built a working product with Lovable, Bolt, Replit, v0, Cursor or Claude Code, and it got you further than anyone expected. Then real users arrived. We take over AI-generated codebases and turn them into systems that survive paying customers: real authentication, a real database schema, real deployment, and a codebase the next engineer can read.

This is you if

  • The app works when you demo it and breaks when two people use it at once
  • You cannot explain how the database is structured, because nothing ever designed it
  • Deploying means clicking a button in a tool you do not control, and there is no way back
  • An API key is in the frontend bundle, or you are not sure whether one is
  • A developer looked at it and said the word 'rewrite' without explaining why
  • You have paying users and a bug you cannot reproduce, let alone fix

If none of these describe your situation, this is probably the wrong service. The other service lines may fit better, and a consulting session is the cheapest way to find out.

What's included

  • Full audit of the generated codebase before we touch it, covering what is salvageable and what has to be rewritten
  • Security pass first: exposed API keys, missing authorization checks, client-side secrets, unprotected endpoints
  • Database schema rebuilt with real relations, constraints and migrations instead of ad-hoc tables
  • Authentication and permissions replaced with a proven implementation rather than generated boilerplate
  • Deployment, environments, backups and monitoring set up so shipping stops being a manual ritual
  • Refactor to a structure a human team can extend, with the working product staying live throughout

What you get

  • A product that holds up when real users hit it, not just when you demo it
  • A written record of every risk found, fixed or deliberately accepted
  • A codebase you can hire developers into without them asking to start over

How the engagement runs

  1. Assessment, 3–5 days

We read the codebase, run it, attack it, and write up what we found. You get the report whether or not you continue with us, and you can hand it to any developer.

  2. Stabilise, weeks 1–2

Security first: keys, authorization, exposed endpoints. Nothing else matters while a stranger can read your customers' data.

  3. Rebuild the foundation, weeks 2–5

Schema, migrations, authentication, deployment and backups — replaced underneath a product that stays online the whole time.

  4. Hand back, final week

Documentation, runbooks, a walkthrough with whoever will maintain it, and a written list of what we deliberately left alone.

What you walk away with

  • A written audit naming every security, data and reliability risk found, ranked by what it would cost you
  • The same product, still live, running on a schema with real constraints, relations and migrations
  • Authentication and authorization replaced with a proven implementation, enforced server-side
  • A deployment pipeline you own: staging, production, rollback, and automated database backups
  • A repository a new developer can clone, run locally and understand within a day

What this does not cover

  • A visual redesign — we keep the interface your users already validated unless you ask otherwise
  • New features during the rescue itself; stabilising and adding at the same time is how rescues fail
  • Native mobile rewrites; web and API only

Naming the exclusions up front is cheaper for both of us than discovering them in week six.

Codebase assessment

$2,500

fixed price, 3–5 working days

You have a product built with Lovable, Bolt, Replit, v0, Cursor or Claude Code, or inherited from a developer who has gone, and no way to judge what is actually underneath it.

If it goes wrong

The report is yours whether or not you continue with us, and it is written so any competent developer can act on it. If the product turns out to be sound, we say so in writing.

Why not next quarter: Two of the seven problems we find most often — an exposed API key and missing server-side authorization — get more expensive every day they stay live, and one of them is not repairable after the fact.

Vibe coding rescue

quoted from the assessment findings

The assessment is done, you know what is broken, and you want it fixed underneath a product that stays live and keeps serving your existing users.

If it goes wrong

Assessment first, always — we will not quote a rescue on a codebase we have not read. If we think the core should be rebuilt rather than rescued, we show you the specific evidence before you spend anything on it.

Why not next quarter: Rescues get more expensive as data accumulates: a schema constraint cannot be applied over rows that already violate it, so every week adds cleanup before the fix can even start.

Every offer, side by side

Before you ask

I built my app with Lovable, Bolt, Replit or Cursor. Can you take it over?
Yes. Taking over AI-generated codebases is a service we run regularly. We start with an audit that tells you what is salvageable and what has to be rewritten, then work in place so your live product keeps running. Typical issues are exposed API keys, missing authorization checks, a database schema with no constraints, and no deployment or backup process.
Do I have to throw away my vibe-coded MVP and start over?
Usually not. The product logic and the interface you validated with users are normally worth keeping. What gets replaced is the layer underneath: authentication, the database schema, authorization checks, and the deployment pipeline. A full rewrite is the exception, and if we recommend one we show you the specific evidence for it before you commit.

Two ways to start, both of them cheap.

Book a call and talk it through, or write the problem down and send it — whichever you would actually do today. Either way you get a reply from an engineer within one business day, and an honest answer about whether we are a fit.

Not ready for either? A $600 consulting session buys one straight answer with no obligation to hire us.
